Outbound SMS Messaging in Salesforce
Send and log personalized text messages from Salesforce for follow-ups, reminders, and campaign outreach.
Send SMS from Salesforce
Unaric Voice's SMS feature allows users to send outbound text messages directly from within the CRM, logging each interaction as an activity. SMS can be used for various purposes like confirming orders, meetings, or requesting missing information. Messages can be sent from a Lead, Contact, or Account record, by searching for a person, or by manually entering a phone number.
Each SMS is automatically recorded with details such as the message text, timestamps, and phone numbers, enabling full reporting and tracking. The feature works with any phone system, with only AWS End User Messaging fees applying.
Embedded in Workflows
Outbound SMS can be integrated into your existing Salesforce workflows and automation. Trigger text messages from process flows, campaigns, or specific field changes, such as status updates or missed call outcomes. This allows you to build smart outreach sequences and cadences that combine voice and SMS in a single, coordinated communication strategy.
Trackable and Reportable
Just like calls, outbound SMS interactions are logged as Salesforce activities.
Messages are stored against the appropriate record, ensuring a full history of all customer touchpoints. This transparency helps sales and service teams keep track of who was contacted, what was said, and when. It also enables better reporting and analysis across all communication channels.
Personalized and Scalable
SMS messages can be personalized using variables, making your outreach feel more relevant and engaging.
For automated flows, any Salesforce field data can be used to enrich personalization. For individual SMS messages, personalization is limited to a smaller set of variables.
Whether you’re sending one-to-one reminders or batch messages as part of a broader campaign, Unaric Voice supports flexible use cases that scale. It’s ideal for time-sensitive updates, short follow-ups, or outreach when a call isn’t practical.
