Manual Dialing via Keypad in Salesforce
Use the built-in dial pad to call any number, even those not linked to Salesforce records, with automatic activity logging.
Dial Numbers Freely in Salesforce
Unaric Voice for Microsoft Teams allows users to manually dial any phone number directly from the CTI SoftPhone keypad in Salesforce.
Whether you’re contacting a new lead, following up with a prospect not yet in your CRM, or returning a call to an unrecognized number, the built-in dial pad gives you complete flexibility.
This ensures you’re never limited to pre-existing records when making outbound calls.
No Contact? No Problem
When a number isn’t linked to a Salesforce Lead, Contact, or Account, users can type it directly into the SoftPhone keypad and place the call.
While the call won’t automatically associate with a CRM record, it’s still logged as an activity in Salesforce with full details: number dialed, time, duration, and call direction. This ensures every call is tracked - even when the contact hasn’t yet been captured in the system.
Familiar, User-Friendly Interface
The SoftPhone keypad mirrors the look and feel of a standard dial pad, making it intuitive for users of all technical skill levels.
Just type the number, press the call button, and you will initiate the call through the Unaric Voice for Microsoft Teams. It’s fast, reliable, and requires no additional tools or training.
Activity Logging and Caller ID
Even for manually dialed calls, Unaric Voice for Microsoft Teams logs the event as an outbound activity in Salesforce.
The system records the Caller ID, the number dialed, timestamps, and duration, ensuring that your reporting and call history stay accurate.
You can also choose which outbound number to display, maintaining consistency with your contact strategy and caller identification preferences.
