Flexible Scan Modes
The component supports three scan modes to suit different workflows:
Single: Scans one barcode and closes automatically
Repeat: Continues scanning until the user exits
Multi: Captures all visible barcodes in one image and lets the user review the list
Each mode is ideal for specific use cases, from fast check-ins to high-volume product logging. Users choose the best fit for their task without needing to switch components.
Easy Admin Setup
Admins can drag the Mobile Scan component onto any Lightning Page using the Lightning App Builder.
It integrates with both App Pages and standard object pages, and you can use Dynamic Actions to restrict it to mobile form factors.
For Flow-based use, simply add the Scan component to the page and pass scanned values into your process. You can even assign the component to mobile navigation menus for quick access.
