Create Multiple Merchant Groups in Salesforce

Segment payments by brand, region, or entity using Merchant Groups to control routing, branding, and settlement accounts.

Group PSP Connections

Unaric Payments allows you to configure Merchant Groups - logical containers that hold specific Payment Service Provider (PSP) connections.

Each group represents a distinct business unit, brand, location, or bank account, enabling granular control over how payments are routed and settled.

This is especially useful for organizations operating under multiple legal entities or currencies.

Brand-Specific Paypages

Each Merchant Group can have its own branded paypage template, with unique logos, colours, and styles.

Whether you're managing multiple franchises or servicing different regions, this ensures customers see the correct branding when making payments.

Assign by Record

Merchant Groups can be manually or programmatically assigned to individual Payment and Authorisation records.

If left blank, a default group is applied for backward compatibility. In recurring payment scenarios, the group must match across both Payment and Authorisation records to ensure successful processing.

Supports Multi-Entity Operations

Merchant Groups make it easy to settle payments into multiple bank accounts, even when using the same PSP and currency.

For example, one group can route GBP payments to Store A’s account, while another routes them to Store B.

This functionality is essential for franchises, property firms, or any organisation with multi-merchant licensing or regulatory separation needs.
