Manage Multiple Merchant Groups in Certinia
Segment PSP connections, pay pages, and routing rules by brand, region, or business unit for scalable multi-entity management.
Organize PSP Connections by Group
Define Merchant Groups with logical collections of specific Payment Service Provider (PSP) connections.
Each group can represent a unique brand, business unit, location, or bank account, giving you precise control over payment routing and settlement.
This structure is ideal for businesses operating under multiple currencies, legal entities, or geographic regions.
Create Branded Pay Pages per Group
Each Merchant Group can be associated with its own fully branded pay page template, complete with custom logos, colors, and styling.
Whether you're managing regional operations or distinct brands, customers always see the appropriate look and feel when completing a payment.
Record-Level Assignment
Merchant Groups can be applied to Payment and Authorisation records either manually or via automation.
If no group is assigned, a default fallback is used to maintain compatibility. For recurring payments, both the Payment and Authorisation records must reference the same group to ensure successful processing.
Multi-Entity Ready
With Merchant Groups, you can route payments, even in the same currency, to different bank accounts using the same PSP.
For example, route GBP transactions to separate accounts for Store A and Store B. This is critical for franchises, real estate groups, and multi-entity businesses that require separate merchant licensing or regulatory compliance.
