Open the Salesforce mobile app, launch the Scan & Search feature, and scan any 1D or 2D barcod, including QR codes. The app immediately searches for matching Salesforce records using the fields you've configured with the SA_ID__c API name. If a match is found, the record opens instantly.

If multiple matches exist, you'll be prompted to select the correct one. It's seamless, efficient, and works across standard, custom, and managed package objects.

Custom Field Matching

With Unaric Scan, your mobile workforce can retrieve records in seconds without needing to search or type.

You can enable scanning on any Salesforce object by adding a custom field with the SA_ID__c API name. This allows barcodes to link to any data you choose, from Contacts to custom inventory objects. The SA_ID field supports external IDs, uniqueness, and text values up to 120 characters. You can also scan Salesforce Record IDs directly for immediate access.

Easy Setup and Configuration

Unaric Scan is quick to deploy. Install the package from Salesforce AppExchange, assign licenses and permission sets, and configure your scannable fields.

The Lightning component is pre-configured for use as a page tab or Global Action, making it easy to add Scan functionality to your mobile navigation or layout. Clearing the app’s cache will re-index your objects if you update field configurations - no redeployment needed.
