Text Directly from Records
Unaric Voice for Microsoft Teams lets you send outbound SMS messages directly from Salesforce.
From any Lead, Contact, or Account record, users can select a result code (such as “Order Confirmation”), write their message, and hit send.
The system automatically uses the mobile phone number (or primary number if no mobile is listed) on the record, making SMS communication fast, seamless, and highly contextual. To make things even easier, prebuilt SMS templates are available, and they can include variables such as the contact’s name or the agent’s callback number.
It’s an ideal way to confirm appointments, follow up on missed calls, or request missing details - without needing to place a call.
Multiple Ways to Send SMS
Users can send SMS messages in three ways:
Directly from a Lead, Contact, or Account page
By searching for a name using the Search Contacts and Leads field
By manually entering a phone number (useful for one-off messages)
If a record is found, the message is automatically linked to that contact. If not, it’s still logged for reporting. This flexibility allows users to send texts efficiently, even when working with unlisted or new numbers.
